Details:

Join us for the maiden voyage of our first ever women’s retreat! Spend five days onboard sailing and exploring the beautiful Bahamas amongst a crew of amazing women. Nourish the body and mind with us as we incorporate breathwork, meditation, yoga, and journaling into our daily adventures.

This is a unique opportunity to learn the art of cruising from an experienced female captain and crew. You’ll sail through the beautiful Exumas, visiting many uninhabited islands that can only be reached by boat. In addition to sailing, we’ll hike scenic trails, snorkel colorful reefs, and enjoy fresh, plant-based meals to fuel our activities.

This trip is designed for women who…

  • Want to experience life at sea, but have been unsure where to start

  • Crave a balance of adventure and relaxation

  • Ready to try new things like sailing, free-diving, or journaling, etc.

  • Want to deepen their connection with nature and themselves

  • Seek a community of like-minded women

  • Looking for an empowering, soul-nourishing retreat

    • Four nights’ accommodations aboard Tiger Lily, a brand new Balance 502 catamaran

    • A welcome bag full of goodies

    • Daily meditation and/or breathwork

    • Journals + daily journaling prompts

    • Three nourishing meals a day + snacks aboard (vegan/gf friendly)

    • Hands-on sailing experience

    • Snorkeling gear (we provide, but feel free to bring your own if you like), paddleboards

    • Boat expenses: fuel, mooring fees, etc.

  • The Exumas are a chain of pristine islands and cays, known for their beautiful turquoise waters and untouched beaches. Established as the first marine reserve in the Caribbean, the Exuma Land and Sea Park is home to vibrant reefs, mangrove creeks, and thriving wildlife above and below the water.

We choose our itinerary based on the weather and wind, but expect daily sailing activities and excursions from one picturesque anchorage to another.

Your five-day journey highlights will include:

    • Allan’s Cay: A secluded spot, known for its only inhabitants—endangered rock iguanas!

    • Shroud Cay: Dinghy through lush mangrove creeks to the oceanside for a hike and beach walk.

    • Warderick Wells: Our favorite spot for hiking—stunning views, tide pools and stromatolites (look it up!). Snorkel among healthy coral, eagle rays and reef sharks.

    • Compass Cay: Hike the island’s trails, explore hidden beaches, and snorkel the ‘Sea Aquarium.’

    • Staniel Cay: Snorkel the iconic Thunderball Grotto and pay a visit to the famous swimming pigs.

    • Sailing over the shallow Exuma Bank is a breathtaking experience in itself!

Enjoy shorter passages, calm waters for smooth sailing, and peaceful anchorages chosen for both activity and relaxation. Within our itinerary, we will create space for reflection, journaling, meditation, and more.

  • Arisa is a photographer and waterwoman who discovered her love for sailing when she had the opportunity to liveaboard a 40 foot catamaran and explore the Leeward Islands when she was 18. Since then, she has worked on boats, led marine biology programs + participated in a handful of offshore passages. She has made it her mission to help others discover their love for the ocean. She is RYT200 certified, and loves drawing inspiration from the natural world within her breathwork practice.

Phoebe is a lifelong sailor and outdoor adventurer. She’s been a captain for the past 3 years, running sailing charters and living aboard a 44’ catamaran in the US Virgin Islands and North Carolina. She has her RYA Yachtmaster Offshore and USCG 50-ton Masters license. Her background in marine biology has led to a passion for sharing the underwater world with others through snorkeling, freediving, and SCUBA. She enjoys a healthy lifestyle, practicing yoga, biking, hiking, and cooking plant-based food.

  • This is the sweet spot for Exumas sailing. Days are bright and warm (about 80–83°F), evenings mellow (72–75°F), and the water invites you in for snorkeling (77–79°F). Expect steady E–ESE breezes around 10–20 knots, brief passing showers, and gentle seas on the Bank with more motion in Exuma Sound. A rare late-season front may swing winds W→N for a day, but easy to manage with protected anchorages.

Bring strong sun protection for the days and a light layer feels good after sunset.

    • Fly in/out of Nassau, The Bahamas via Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS)

    • Please choose flights that arrive before 12pm on the 14th and depart after 4pm on the 18th. Let us know if you need help arranging your travel.

Pricing is per cabin (sleeps two), so book it for yourself or bring a friend, sister, or partner and split the rate!
