Step aboard for a week of sailing through the turquoise waters and island chain of the Abacos. Known for their protected sea, colorful towns, and endless cays to explore, the Abacos are the perfect blend of relaxed cruising and hands-on sailing. Over the course of seven days, you’ll live aboard a performance cruising catamaran, learning the ropes, helming, anchoring, and discovering what the cruising lifestyle is all about. Between sails, enjoy snorkeling on vibrant reefs, strolling white-sand beaches, or exploring ashore. Expect a mix of skill-building, adventure, and laid-back island time.
It’s an introduction to what Balance Catamarans are built for: fast, comfortable sailing combined with the joy of living well on the water.

Our exact route depends on the weather, but expect a balance of sailing and island time with highlights such as:
Hope Town (Elbow Cay): famous lighthouse, colorful houses, and laid-back island charm
Great Guana Cay: lively beach bars and miles of pristine sandy beaches
Man-O-War Cay: charming boatbuilding heritage
Green Turtle Cay: picturesque harbor and island culture
Sandy Cay: one of the best snorkeling spots in the Bahamas
Little Harbour: a tucked-away anchorage with an artists’ colony, beachfront pub, and laid-back island vibe
