We choose our itinerary based on the weather, but expect daily sailing activities and excursions from one picturesque anchorage to another. Your five-day journey highlights include:
Virgin Islands National Park: quiet anchorages protected by lush mountainsides, hiking trails, snorkeling, and donkeys!
Cruz Bay, St John: a fun and quaint little town with a handful of restaurants, bars, and artsy shops
Coral Bay, St John: you’ll feel like a true cruiser going ashore in this very sleepy island town
Christmas Cove: snorkel over to the famous Pizza Pi, a sailboat turned floating pizza restaurant
St Thomas: the most bustling island of the USVI, a blend of rich colonial history and lively island culture

January in the U.S. Virgin Islands offers ideal sailing conditions— warm temperatures in the low 80s°F (around 27°C), with cooler nights and steady trade winds. Rain showers are brief and infrequent, and the seas are generally calm, making it a perfect time to cruise through beautiful turquoise waters to sun-drenched anchorages.
